Ravens are on the prowl again!

We waded into Utgarde Keep more then ready to pounce, rawr and moo our way to victory!

Utgarde had other plans though =P

Our starting crew was Dan (with an un-named gnome warrior whom I blame for every wipe, poopy drop and lag in general), Tiank, Therlae, Squish and myself. The blame for the light misting of undead goo on my armor... also Dan's gnome's fault, as well as the slightly charred tint to my nice boots.... <ramble ramble ramble blaming gnomes>

Anyway, after a rough stint to find out that Utgarde HAS to have a very well-geared tank to even hope to get thru, lesson learned, although I am suspicious of gnomish malo-ness, it proved to be similar to the lv 70 instances in TBC - if the tank is well-geared the instance is much smoother. We made it up to the 2nd boss on our first run-thru, and all the way to smack the last boss once we swapped some toons around.

A good time was had by all, some nice loots too:
Dan: [Dragon Stabler's Gauntlets]
Squish: [Reinforced Velvet Helm]
Me: [Chestplate of the Northern Lights]  &&  [Overlaid Chain Spaulders]

It was a very cool visual experience too, giant forges and billows, some neat pulls and spell effects, and of course wild squishy mayhem!

Great job guys! It was fan-tastic to run around as a crew again!

It was quite an adventure just finding the instance (running around the continent in the completely wrong zone for the first hour for which I blame Q).  It was a bit of a rough start but we persevered.  I was surprised at how short the instance was.  Just 3 bosses and you're done.  Clearing the instance did take a while as we were learning the new mechanics of the instance.  The bosses felt more like mini raid bosses than regular instance bosses.  It was truely epic!

And we did it again on Wednesday Nov 26th. Of course, this time, it was easier cause the uber-elite-kewlness of the gnome-powa was there to pick up the slack.

It was a lot of fun too. Nice to run with the gang again.
